If I were my own best friend I would remind myself to…
Hang in there.
The grass may look greener somewhere else…
but sometimes you have to look closer at the grass.
***Somedays just feel like this. I’m hanging over a pit and the grass sure looks greener, softer, brighter, plusher, easier to care for (pick your poison) on the other side.
But what if when I got to other side and got up-close-and-personal with the grass it had big yellow pointy teeth and beady little eyes? Would that be any better than where I already was? Hhhmm.
Now I’m not saying don’t ever check out the other grass, make changes or try new things. I’m just trying to remind myself that sometimes it’s alright to be content with where I am. It’s alright to not always be looking for the greener grass.
