If I were my own best friend I would…
Plant a garden. Or at least have one potted plant. A connection with nature is vital. For life.
Note written on the seed package: Sprinkle these seeds in a patch of earth. Add a sparkle of sunshine, and tender loving care. Who knows what delights, you might find growing there.
***I found this cut-out of a seed packet when I was sorting through a box of old papers this week. The paper texture is similar to wrapping paper, so I might have cut it out of a large sheet of wrapping paper many years ago. I have no idea who the artist was, but I love the image and the poem that goes with it.
It’s so simple. Be connected with the earth. Play with dirt. Understand how seeds become plants. It’s delightful! And fun.
