Remind myself to breathe.

If I were my own best friend I would…

(… remind myself to BREATHE. just breathe.

not in a hey-you-have-to-breathe-to-live kind of way, but more of a checking in, slowing down, pausing to really experience life and the moment and beauty of the world and remember to pick up the dry-cleaning, and don’t forget groceries, and when did I last get my oil changed? and I should really wash my car because it’s brown right now but under the dirt it used to be shiny black and did I make a doctor’s appointment yet about my new friend motion-sickness and…oops.
